Hi Girls,
Have any of
you ever dealt with rejection before? I did this week… and it isn’t
easy but I realize now that if something is supposed to happen, it’ll happen, you
can’t force things, especially feelings. And sometimes when you try too hard,
all you end up with is humiliation, heartbreak and a bruised ego.
Despite
everything, I’m glad that my family always has my back. And as they say, every
cloud has a silver lining: in my case, a present from a secret admirer to
brighten up my day! Thank you, whoever you are, my #secretadmirer.
So girls, this tiring, emotional
week has taken its toll on my appearance – especially in the eyes. For this
week’s beauty hack, I’m going to teach you how to get fresh, bright eyes even
when you’re not feeling like a million bucks, and the trick is in your lashes.
First of all, make sure you invest in
a high-quality eyelash curler, this is really important because you don’t want
your eyelashes to fall when you curl them or worse – cut off (my worst
nightmare!!). You can find a decent curler ranging from SGD$20-30 in any major
beauty store, so you’ve got no excuses!
1. Start by curling your lashes from
the roots to tip. Press down and hold
your lashes in the curler for a few seconds and slowly move upwards until the
end of your lashes. You gotta be a little patient, but the results will be
worth it!
Check out my curled eye lashes!
2. Apply your volume mascara,
starting from the roots, moving your hand left and right and then pulling
upwards to the ends of your lashes. This will intensify the volume and also
help create equal amounts of space between your lashes, giving it more body.
3. Lastly, use a comb brush to
separate your lashes and prevent clumping.
That’s it! Easy, right? Now with your
bigger, bolder lashes you’ll look more awake, alert and refreshed. I hope you
girls try this out on days when you’re running on little sleep or even if
you’re just short on time. Please be
sure to share photos of your beautiful bright eyes using the hashtag
#longlastinglashes and #frufrushru.
That’s all for this week! Thank you again for always supporting
me. Until next time! Mwah!
Hi Shruti! Can you do a hair tutorial? Like the one on your head, the mini braid. I can't get to do it, since you can do it and avoid the frizzy hair( I get that when I do braid, after keeping it for hours), so can you do it? All the love, S.
