Hai Girls,
I don’t know about you, but life has
been really stressful lately. With all the negative stuff that’s been happening
online, the stress from homework, grades, teachers, friends… not to mention family
and also trying to balance a social life…! Ahh!! Just typing all that out made my heart beat
faster.
I know we can’t put an end to stress
completely, but we’ve gotta learn to
keep stress levels manageable, otherwise we’ll end up affecting the people
around us without even realizing it. This week, a teacher I really like lashed
out at some kids, we all know it’s unlike her and probably happened because
she’s too stressed out. I did a similar thing later when I snapped at a
friend’s little sister. It felt like everything and everyone was just bugging
me that day…
All this made me realize how
important it is to process your emotions and thoughts on a regular basis and in
a healthy manner. This includes the days when you have a hundred things to do
and feelings may not seem up there on the priority list. They’re still a part
of you and if you manage them well your workload will seem much less daunting.
Another important aspect of stress
management is to have a solid support system or coping mechanism that can help
you out when things get too out of control. Having a friend to talk to can
really help!
Another awful side effect of stress
is the dreaded breaking out. Yes
girls, I’m talking about pimples.
Yuck. Luckily for me, I haven’t had a break out this week and I’m going to make
sure it doesn’t happen!
So I’m here to share with you my
secret, super-quick and effective way to get rid of pimples or better yet,
avoid them altogether!
1) If you have a pimple, start by
keeping a warm, damp cloth on the pimple for 10 minutes to get rid of as much
bacteria as possible and soften the area. You can also do this if you are
anticipating a pimple in a specific area.
3) You can also get great results from nature’s best! Try ice, lemon juice or toothpaste!
Hope this helps, and remember that everything
will be okay and to take some time out each day to de-stress! Until next time!
Mwah!
