Hai Girls,
You can’t begin to understand how relieved I am
after getting my ‘A’ Level results. All the nervous anticipation of the past
few months is finally over, and now I can finally look forward to starting
university later this year!
I’m especially happy because I get to celebrate
this major landmark in my life with my family by my side because I know I
wouldn’t be here without them. I know how much they have supported and cared
for me through the good and bad times. I guess it doesn’t matter what the happy
occasion in your life is because it’s meaningless if you don’t have friends and
family by your side to share it with.
That being said, there were some hiccups in my
week. Things took a nasty turn when P got caught shoplifting. I always believe in
giving people the benefit of the doubt, because if the roles were reversed… I’d
want the benefit of the doubt as well. But I can’t help but feel a little betrayed
by P. I almost feel silly for vouching for her in the past – and it hurts a
little to know P took advantage of our friendship. Nevertheless, the last thing she needs right
now is one more person judging her, so I’m going to be there for her like a
true friend should!
I hope that P can put this
behind her as quickly as possible and move forward in a positive way. For one
thing, we can both work on our university applications together! And you know
what else I’m excited about? I can finally say goodbye to school uniforms and
finally show my fashion sense with all the outfits that I’ll get to wear! So this week I want to share my first five
looks for the first five days of uni:
Monday:
Never underestimate the power
of a printed dress to give you an effortless, chic look. A great way to chase away
the Monday blues and look absolutely stunning at the start of the week.
Tuesday:
Bold colour, bold designs
with a bold statement necklace. Too much? I don’t think so. Sometimes you need
to go bold or go home!
Wednesday:
The mid-week slump calls for an
outfit with attitude. A denim jacket and graphic t-shirt with sleek dark-washed
jeans are guaranteed to turn heads. It’s time to be one of the cool kids!
Thursday:
Nearing the end of the week, you’ll
need something casual yet eye-catching – sports jerseys are the perfect item
and you’re all set to rock the campus.
Friday:
TGIF! When it’s dress-down
Friday, I want to be casual and comfortable, so shorts, sneakers and a cute top
work great for me. Besides, I need a break before my dramatic looks for the
weekend unfold. Lol!
That’s it for this week
girls. Let me know what you like to wear for poly or university! Share your
outfits on Instagram and don’t forget to hashtag #frufrushru! Until next time,
mwah!
