Hai Girls,
This week was my last day
of school ever… like EVER. Can you believe it? I had mixed feelings about it and
in the end it was soooo boring, thanks to a booooring speech by a student rep.
But still, I will say that there was a different energy in the room…
Usually, we’d be falling
asleep in assemblies like these, jittery and fidgeting constantly. This time
there was a sense of positive
restlessness, and I think it’s ‘cause we’re all just too excited about the
future! Sure it’s going to be scary and different, and a lot of us are still unsure
of what exactly to do (this includes me too!)… But that isn’t going to stop us
from embracing this uncertainty, jumping in head first and adapting!
That being said, I do feel
the pressure building, especially knowing how much Ma, Pa, and my brother had
achieved when they were my age. They knew exactly what they wanted from life
and were already on the path to achieving it!
I know I want to make my
mark in something creative or fashion-related, but the reality is that these
industries are huge and I’m still not exactly
sure what I want to do within them… So I’ve definitely got to keep trying to
figure that out. I can only do things one step at a time and as long as I’m
working hard and being productive, I know I’ll get there eventually. It’s as
they say - Rome wasn’t built in a day!
All of my guy friends have
been working on their pre-NS bucket list to commemorate their school years and
get in a little fun before the army. I thought it was a little silly at first, but
I’m realising now that this period of limbo in our lives may never come again,
so what’s silly in having a little fun before we have to get serious?
Which is why this week I
wanted to share with you girls my very own fun post-graduation and pre-real
world bucket list!
Here
it is:
1. Take a photo with my
favourite teacher Mrs. Pereira (done at prom!)
My favourite teacher and DM Mrs Pereira! |
2. Paint my nails all
different colours.
3. Eat nothing but ice cream
and junk food all day.
Snacking all day... |
4. Organise my clothes, jewellery
and shoes (once and for all!)
Organising my wardrobe is a huge task |
5. Get a tattoo. (Just
kidding… I meant a fake one, just for fun!)
6. Meet Adam Lambert (it might
take me a little longer to make this dream come true!)
Adam Lambert <3 |
So far I’ve only managed a
few of these… I’m going to keep working on it! If you have a similar bucket
list, why don’t you share it? Instagram your photos and tag me @frufru.shru or
hashtag #frufrushru. Until next time, mwah!
