Hai girls!
I hope you are all
feeling full of joy, love, peace and good cheer… because I am! Exams are over,
prom is coming up soon, and so is Christmas. This is definitely my favourite
time of the year!
What do I love
about the festive season? It’s a time for friends and family to get together, have
an excuse to throw lots of dinner parties, and to spread some love through the
exchange of gifts. You don’t have to spend a bomb, because as we all know, it’s
the thought that counts. It’s also a good idea to add a handwritten card for
that personal touch to show that you care.
Seasonal decorations
are already up along Orchard Road and this always gets me in the festive mood, thinking
about snowmen, Santa Claus, reindeer and… biscuits!
Biscuits make
awesome gifts, and one of my favourite places to get them is Cold Storage. They
have such a wide selection of festive biscuits, from butter cookies and shortbreads,
to chocolate biscuits, and my all-time favourite gingerbread.
And check out
these tins – aren’t they gorgeous?? I think my friends love the tins as much
(or more) than the biscuits in them.

I highly recommend
my favourite brands: Gavottes, Fox’s, Lambertz and Cadbury for amazing
chocolate biscuits, Lambertz and Weiss for gingerbread, Bahlsen and Jacobsens
for classic butter cookies (sooo buttery!) and you can’t beat Walkers for their
shortbread biscuits.

The Walkers shortbread
is buttery, rich and goes perfect with a cup of tea. I know my Pa would love
these. The Gavottes and Lambertz selections of chocolate biscuits are perfect
to bring along to a party with friends because there’s something for everyone
and because, chocolate.
And finally, Ma and I love Weiss gingerbread for the
taste of ginger and spices in every bite. Just thinking about them is making me
want to go out and buy some biscuits like NOW.
