#tbt Pa and me |
There’s been a lot said about me in the past, both good and bad, and it’s a part of my online life I’ve learnt to accept. But what I will not stand for are dirty rumours about my family – so today I’m clearing the air and getting the facts straight.
Everyone who knows my father, Dr Bhaskar, has felt his dedication and diligence not only as a doctor but also as a human being. It’s in his nature to go above and beyond for his patients and I have experienced the extent of his generosity and love firsthand as his daughter.
I remember an incident when I was 10 years old and down with a bad flu. The only thing I’d eat was chocolate, chips and candy. Pa tried to explain to me that this wasn’t such a good idea but I refused to listen and just kept crying. Just to cheer me up, Pa built a blanket fort around my bed, stayed in there with me, and convinced me that Ma’s chicken soup would magically transform me into a princess! He fed me the soup, made sure I took all my medicine and stayed with me until I eventually fell asleep. Would someone who’s careless and uncaring do so much?
In conclusion, my dad, Dr. Bhaskar is a caring, honest and kind doctor, just ask any patient. Well, anyone other than Mr. C, that is. Seems like Mr. C is unhappy with the medical authorities’ decisions and has taken matters into his own hands. But this is just one patient. Is everybody else just wrong about Dr Bhaskar? Surely not.
